What people build with VPN & Residential Proxies

Mix encrypted VPN tunnels with dedicated proxy credentials to match the exact workflow you need.

Lifting location-based restrictions

Connect as a local user in another region to see content, services, and pricing as real residents do. Ideal for market research and everyday streaming checks.

Best with: VPN apps or OpenVPN profiles.

Web scraping

Rotate through real residential exits while collecting data at scale. Look like genuine visitors instead of automated data-center bots.

Best with: HTTP(S) & SOCKS5 proxy bundles.

Website availability testing

Check whether your sites are reachable from different countries, networks, and ISP families, instead of testing from a single data-center location.

Best with: mix of VPN + proxies.

Price & content comparison

Observe how products, fares, and offers change across regions. See what real customers in each market actually experience.

Best with: country-pinned proxy bundles.

Brand & abuse protection

Inspect where your pages, creatives, or listings appear and spot suspicious placements from the same vantage point as real users.

Best with: rotating residential proxies.

Ad & tracking verification

Confirm that tracking pixels, landing pages, and campaigns render correctly for each targeted location and device profile.

Best with: fixed-IP proxy bundles.

Streaming quality checks

Preview catalog differences, buffering, and quality from multiple countries without relocating or spinning up separate infrastructure.

Best with: VPN apps + OpenVPN profiles.

Automation & QA testing

Drive headless browsers, API clients, and test suites through dedicated proxy credentials without touching your personal connection.

Best with: named proxy accounts per project.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is WayaVPN?

WayaVPN gives you secure, private internet access using real residential IPs from major ISPs. It works on almost any device that supports OpenVPN, and your account can also create separate HTTP(S) / SOCKS5 proxy credentials.

What is a proxy?

A proxy is a middle server that forwards traffic from your app or script to the rest of the internet. Instead of your device talking to a site directly, it sends the request to the proxy first, and the site sees the proxy's residential IP and network characteristics. In your dashboard you generate proxy usernames and passwords, then plug them into tools, browsers, or automation frameworks that support HTTP(S) or SOCKS5.

How is a proxy different from a VPN?

A VPN creates an encrypted tunnel for almost all traffic from your device or router. Once connected, every app behaves as if it is on the VPN network. A proxy is configured per app (for example, in a browser, bot, or script) and usually only that app uses the residential IP. VPN is ideal when you want full-device protection and a simple switch; proxies are ideal when you want fine-grained control per process, server, or project.

What is the difference between HTTP(S) and SOCKS5 proxies?

HTTP(S) proxies understand web traffic and are optimized for browsers and HTTP clients. They can read headers and use the CONNECT method to tunnel encrypted HTTPS traffic. SOCKS5 is a lower-level, protocol-agnostic tunnel that can carry almost any TCP connection and some UDP. It does not interpret the data, which makes it very flexible for automation tools, headless browsers, games, and custom clients that support SOCKS5.

When should I use proxies?

Use proxies when you want specific tools to appear from residential IPs without moving your entire device: web scraping, browser automation, multi-account QA, geo-testing APIs, or running tasks from servers and containers in the cloud. Each proxy bundle has its own username and password, separate from your login, so you can isolate projects and teams.

When should I use the VPN instead of proxies?

Use the VPN when you need a quick, full-device solution: streaming content while you travel, securing public Wi-Fi, gaming from another region, or protecting everything on your phone or laptop with one tap. The VPN is also the easiest way for non-technical users to benefit from residential IPs.

Are your residential IPs static or rotating?

Our exits are dynamic. That means IPs can rotate over time, just like a normal home connection where the modem receives a new address periodically. Many sessions will keep the same IP for a long stretch, but the design is intentionally closer to real residential behaviour than to fixed data-center ranges. Rotation is gradual and session-friendly so you can run long tasks without constant churn.

How do I pay: subscription or points?

You can choose a monthly subscription for unlimited access to all VPN servers (one active session at a time), or buy points and pay only when you connect or generate proxy bundles. Points give you flexibility for mixed VPN plus proxy usage.

When should I use a subscription?

If you connect often or for long sessions, the subscription is the simplest and best value. No points are deducted from VPN while it is active and you can use the entire fleet. You can still spend points separately on residential proxy bundles when needed.

When should I use points?

If you only need access sometimes, buy points and spend them as you go. Points never expire and can be transferred to other users. They can be used for VPN sessions or to create residential proxy bundles with separate usernames and passwords.

I do not see ads or offers to earn points in my region. What can I do?

Ad partners control availability by country, device, and time. If you do not see offers, the best options are to buy points directly or switch to a monthly subscription for unlimited VPN access while keeping points for proxy use.

Do points expire? Can I share them?

Points do not expire. You can transfer points to another user at any time from your account dashboard.

How many devices and proxy users can I use?

You can install the app on as many devices as you like. For stability and fair use, one active VPN session is allowed at a time per subscription account. Points-based access allows unlimited devices, and you can create separate proxy usernames per bundle or project.

Do you keep logs?

No. We do not log your browsing activity. Basic operational metrics needed to run the service are minimized and never used to track you as a person.

Will this help with streaming and geo-blocks?

Yes. Many services block data-center ranges. Our residential IPs appear as normal home users, which helps avoid blocks. Please follow each service's own terms of use.

Which platforms are supported?

Windows, Android, routers, and almost any platform that supports the OpenVPN protocol. You can also import the provided .ovpn profiles into compatible clients, or point HTTP(S) / SOCKS5-aware apps to your proxy credentials.

What if my connection is slow or blocked?

Try another nearby location, switch protocol profiles if available, and ensure your ISP is not throttling VPNs. If issues persist, contact support with your location, the server name, and whether you were using VPN or proxies.

How do I get started quickly?

Create an account, then either subscribe for unlimited VPN access or visit the Buy Points page to load points. Download our client or OpenVPN profiles to connect, and use the dashboard proxy generator whenever you need dedicated HTTP(S) / SOCKS5 access for tools and automation.
